Café Manuscript

If you know Ostend, there’s no need to introduce you to Café Manuscript. This “brown café” was named Best Café in Ostend in 2015, but its fame has spread far beyond the city.

The Manuscript has been the home of the best blues and rock music for 25 years, hosting some big name artists, including The Delta Saints, The Goo Goo Dolls, Steve Conte, and My Dynamite.

The beer menu is nearly as lengthy as the gig schedule, with more than 70 beers listed, including the house beer, PoppoLou.

If you like beer and you like music – and who doesn’t? – you should visit Café Manuscript.

Visit Oostende

Without the extensive and expert support of Visit Oostende, the city’s tourism service, there would be no North Sea Beer Festival.

The organisers are grateful to have the support of one of the most innovative tourist offices in the country and delighted to be in the beautiful “City by the Sea”.
